By the way, this mixer also accepts older model Hamilton Beach (HB) beaters, but the opposite is not true (older model HB mixers do not readily accept the new HB soft-scrape beaters). **Q: Are the silicone-coated beaters safe for ceramic-coated pots and pans? Enjoy the lowest mixing speed where if you have dry ingredients they do not spray outside the bowl. Not quite sure why others have found this feature to be awful.
