This audiobook doesn't contain any Arabic letters! All Arabic words in this audiobook were written in English transliteration! Have you always wanted to learn how to speak the Emirati Arabic dialect but simply didnโt have the time? Well, if so, then look no further. You can have one of the most advanced and revolutionary methods ever designed for quickly becoming conversational in a language. In creating this time-saving program, master linguist Yatir Nitzany spent years examining the 27 most common languages in the world and distilling from them the 350 words that are most likely to be used in real conversations. These 350 words were chosen in such a way that they were structurally interrelated and, when combined, form sentences. Through various other discoveries about how real conversations work - discoveries that are detailed further in this audiobook - Nitzany created the necessary tools for linking these words together in a specific way so you may become rapidly and almost effortlessly conversant - now. If your desire is to learn complicated grammatical rules or to speak perfectly proper and precise Arabic, this audiobook is not for you. However, if you need to actually hold a conversation while on a trip to Dubai or Abu Dhabi, to impress that certain someone, or to be able to speak with your grandfather or grandmother as soon as possible, then the Nitzany method is what you have been looking for. This audiobook is recommended for those who already have some prior knowledge of the pronunciation of Arabic accents (such as the Arabic accents: ayin, ghayn, ha, and khaf). For those of you who do not, this audiobook does indeed provide some great, in-depth techniques on the pronunciation and recognition of these accents, that you will encounter throughout the program. These techniques have proven extremely beneficial for beginner students who were previously unfamiliar with these accent pronunciations. But keep in mind this isnโt a pronunciation audiobook. This method is designed for fluency in a foreign language while communicating in the first-person present tense. Nitzany believes whatโs most important is actually being able to understand and be understood by another human being right away. Therefore, unlike other courses, all words in this program are taught in English transliteration, without having to learn the complex alphabet. More formalized training in grammar rules, etc., can come later. This is one of the several in a series of instructional language guides. The Nitzany methodโs revolutionary approach is the only one in the world that uses its unique language technology to actually enable you to speak and understand native speakers in the shortest amount of time possible. Learn the Arabic dialect of the United Arab Emirates today, not tomorrow, and get started now! A good try!
The cover is the Burj Arab, he should have placed the Burj Kalifa on the cover instead. I did not have any family in UAE so the book was not that inviting. I did not come across the word for a Mosque in the book, So I was not able to ask "Where is the Mosque?' when I was lost. Also Arabic Script is not included in the book nor does the book come with a CD. There were some typographical errors in the transliteration. Definitely, visit Dubai and use English.

Tiny leaflet with odd Emirati Arabic phrases
The author claims to have discovered a revolutionary system for learning languages. Maybe he has, but it does not seem to me that it is working. He spends 10 pages about himself and his method, and only 29 pages on actual language learning (this should be called a leaflet, not a book). I picked this up as it was difficult to find books focusing on spoken Emirati Arabic, but there are other books that do this much better that this one. Firstly, some of the phrases that he translates seems to be very odd. On the first two pages and among the first 10 sentences you should learn, you learn how to say "Sometimes I am with him" and "If it was between now and later". I find it difficult to imagine when I would use these sentences when you have not yet learnt the basics. Secondly, the authors focus on a generic system may work for some languages, but it seems that he is not flexible enough to adapt his system to Arabic. For example, verb conjugation does not take into account that Arabic uses different forms of you (singular) for male and female. As a summary, this book was a wasted purchase for me.
