Sitting behind a keyboard with the mic head pointed up (about 2 feet from my head). I was able to play my music relatively loud and talk and listeners barely heard the speakers. I am not a big fan of headsets/headphones and am overjoyed to finally find a solution that allows me to participate in voip situations without having to wear one. Review: Voice recognition works well - After using for several months with Dragon Naturally speaking, I am very happy with the accuracy and fidelity of this device. Even though the warranty is one year, when I returned the item, $20 was deducted for a restocking fee. It was defective and no longer worked. Why would there be a restocking fee? A true warranty would give a full refund. There was nothing to be restocked.
