Solid and worth to get

It is working well so far and I am using it to moitor my grip strength for my health assessment

The knob is adjustable to set the width for fitting in the hand, and I have not sensed the false reading yet. It took some time to get hang of it, eventually figured it out to store the records. Nice tool to gauge one’s grip strength especially the closing one, as grip strength is a proxy for measuring lot other metrics.

This is one of the better hand dynamometers out there. I just wish the weight limit was higher (upto 120kg). The user memory function is quiet handy. Would definitely recommend.

.....wenn man einfach mal so wissen will, was man für eine Kraft in der Hand hat, ist das nicht schlecht, klar für einmalige Benutzung wohl etwas viel Geld, wenn man allerdings seine Arm- Handmuskulatur trainiert, ist es sicherlich interessant, weil man dann messen kann, wie weit man sich verbessert, könnte evtl. auch zum vorteil sein, wenn man einen Apolex hatte, um zu sehen, dass es Fortschritte gibt!

I bought this to track the progress of recovery of hand strength after breaking a bone in my hand. After the plaster came off, I had 3 physio appointments 6 weeks apart, but was keen to see if the exercises I was asked to do twice a day were helping in between times. This device allowed me to track the strength in the broken hand, which started at 20% of the other hand, and over a year steadily climbed to 105%. This encouraged me with objective data that said that the strength was gradually coming back, and kept me motivated to do the various exercises. The time course for full recovery was well over a year, and it was helpful to have feedback in between physio appointments. The device works well, and gave similar results to the £400+ dynamometer used at the hospital. I hope I don't ever have to use it again, but would recommend it as a way to track - and be encouraged by - the long and slow eventual recovery from hand injury.
