At first I was unsure about the LED being bright enough or covering a good enough area. But man I was surprised to see these on at night. They are much brighter than we originally anticipated! Like the God Zeus packed 10,000 lightning bolts in each LED before mounting together with 10 others in this lantern. Installation was very easy and only took 45 minutes for three lanterns. Even the under developed hands of my newborn child could easily put up these magnificent beams of light sent from the gods! The look and finish is very nice like Fine English walnut furniture built by the hands of elvish craftsman (J.R.R. Toliken elves, not north pole elves). The forgings are precise and only can add that improved look of regality to your home weather it costs more than a million dollars or if you live in a van down by the river. Just imagine you could be the talk of trailer park, subdivision, or high end private community with the bright white shining beacon of these babies on your humble abode! We bought 4 of these lights back in 2014 for our house and garage.. We loved the way that they looked and the way that they functiioned. They put out a good deal of light and the dusk to dawn photo eye kept us from having to turn lights on and off. About 6 months ago one of the lights on the garage started blinking on and off at night. We took the light down to see if there was a problem with the wiring, there wasn't so we ended up having to replace the matching set on the garage with something similar since we could no longer find these in a store. Then about a month ago two more of these lights started blinking. I contacted the Amazon seller that we purchased these from and i was told that they no longer carried them I should contact the manufacturer. We contacted the manufacturer and we were told that we would be responsible for shipping and any replacement parts. DO NOT BUY anything from this manufacturer. We bought these from two different people at two different times so they were not all from the same lot.
