These ice shelters protect you from the harsh elements winter days fishing on hard water can dish out. Durable 7-oz. polyester canvas cover is water-repellent and fire retardant. Large doors on each end of the shelter provide easy access and two full-length windows with attached shades let you see what's happening outside. Cover is fully attached to the base, so there are no air gaps to worry about. Polyethylene base is lighter than wood and just as strong. Base features non-slip carpeting, which also insulates and keeps noise to a minimum. Molded-in bucket carriers. The 4000 Deluxe boasts the same great features as 3000 Deluxe, only larger. Easy one-person set-up. Two 11" x 35" holes. Double-stitched 300-denier polyester duck cover. Measures: 70"L x 47"W x 72"H setup. Weight: 44 lbs.

High quality shelter! 600 denier fabric seems very strong! Very roomy for two people! Easy set up! The only reason is does not get 5 stars is because its heavy and hard to pull, ski system is cheap, and fabric is too loose after set up. I will continue to buy shappell shelters the rest of my life!!!!! USA/ MICHIGAN MADE!!!!

Very roomy and easy to set up and down. Even in a 30mph wind!! Some of the stitching is coming loose around the windows.

great shelter a few problems with the flip up doors. I will have to buy some anchors it likes to slide around. but all around a good shelter.

Very Satisfied
Only used once so far but worked out very well and kept us warm on the 20 deg sunny day without a heater... Very easy to set up but it is a lttle on the heavy side.

I love the shack it's really really big and it's great for 4 people and all the tackle heater fish finders lanterns

Please Shappell NEVER stop making this house!!
Best damn fish house period. So nice it's the main reason I haven't bought a nice permanent house. It's huge, its really light. With the ski's you can pull it with your pinky, try that with a clam 6800 or larger. It has a full carpeted floor with hinged hole covers. I can load it in my truck by myself. It's easy as hell to setup. This is the ultimate house. I will not fish in any of my friends crappy flip over feet on the ice houses. BUY ONE!
