The brother label makers that the label maker came with are slightly better as far as the material you print on, and the face, seems to be a denser product. It is shinier, and seems to be higher quality. It is probably a little more weather proof on that side. However, these are fine. For the price they are great! Adhesion: This label tape seems to stick well. I use them to make my drones and such with my name and email, in the advent that I was to loose one. Getting the label apart: These seem a little easier to me to get the label that i have printed off the backing paper. There is a line down the middle and you slighly bend the labels in half length wise to get the adhesive part off the backing paper. I don't think that original label tape had this feature. Summary: I like them, and they work fine for me. Yes, I think the original brother label tape was a little higher quality, but these are cheaper, and make a great replacement!

I usually don't purchase off brand products. I had taken a chance and purchased this 12mm 0.47 M Tape Compatible for Brother P Touch Label Maker to see if it would work and maybe I could save some money. I find no difference between this and the expensive name brand cartridges that I've been purchasing. The perk...I get a lot more of the same quality of tape at much less of a price.

Works great has a matt finish easy to remove and sticks well. Great price for the pack. I bought it for my older label maker and it was a perfect fit.

These are generally good labels, the split back paper is much better than the OEM... but they will not stay stuck to any polypropylene containers. (such as plastic shoeboxes) Though to be fair I don't know if the OEMs do either. I end up having to scotch tape over them to keep them in place on PP containers.

Works great! Labels are hard to remove and adhere to clean surfaces. I have two Ptouch label makers and these fit in both the smaller hand held version and my larger model that can accept 1" tape. Seems oil, dirt, smudge and resistant to normal cleaning products.

I like that the color is whiter than the name brand. The backing is super easy to remove since there is a slit that runs midway through the whole tape. It is not as glossy as the original but still has a semi gloss. Great for the price. Would buy again

I make a lot of labels for files and items around the house. The Brother label unit is excellent and these tapes equally good. Something new with these labels is the ease of stripping off the back paper. These are the first ones I found that have the backing paper precut for easy removal. Nice feature.
