バイタミックスTNC5200ほぼ毎日10年以上使っていて、コンテナを買い替えたのでドライブソケットも交換しました。比べるとやはり摩耗しています。交換して安定感が増した気がします。付属の金具でネジを緩めて上に引いて外し、（ネジを外してしまわないように注意です。本体の中に入り込んで一苦労でした）新しいドライブソケットのネジを緩めてはめ込み、ネジを締めます。ネジ穴を塞ぐゴムも付属していました。

Quick fix for smoking blender
I ordered this 10 years ago, having had a Vitamix blender for 5 years at the time. I like to be prepared! Anyway, after continued daily use, I finally needed it today. There was an awful smoky burning smell coming from the existing drive socket but with the replacement in place it's all good to go again. It took about 10 minutes to do the job. Note that you need a blob of silicone sealant to finish the job.
