Not just a hint of black, but stark, over dyed black. I noticed it early on in the coloring process and tried washing it out, used a couple suggestions I learned on the internet (some helped a little bit), but I was eager to get back to a little more normal color. I only wish I could buy Satin products locally! I got this and used it within 48 hours of my major color failure and although it didn't remove 100% of the black color, it lightened it up enough so I could go out in public and not be self-conscious! Easy to use, great instructions and no nasty odor. After a week, I went to my stylist and he gave me a few highlights to help blend in the old and new color of my hair.....and I got compliments. Ha! Probably going to be a little more careful next time I color my hair! Love Satin for their color products, color remover and especially their conditioner. Review: DO NOT BUY THIS STUFF DOES NOT WORK - This product is horrible and does not work. I purchased it having naturally light blonde hair that was bleached and dyed purple. It did not lift any of the color, in fact I think less came out than when I normally shower.
