I had a pinched nerve in my neck that made pain radiate in my neck down to my elbow and chest area on one side. Nothing was working to alleviate any of the pain after months of suffering. **Q: will this fit a 17 1/2 inch collar neck size?**
A: Yes it’s adjustable it fits my husband and he’s a 17 1/2!

**Q: Is it made of Latex?**
A: I am allergic to latex. I did not have a reaction to the cushion. I did have a reaction to the tubing and bulb.

**Q: How do you deflate this?**
A: It inflates/deflates like a blood pressure cuff (by turning the valve on the pump)

**Q: When do you know when to stop pumping it up?**
A: It’s different for every person.. I pump mine up til I feel it stretch, then I stop when it starts to become uncomfortable…
Note!! If you have a large neck, (like I do), this item will be too small for you. It says one size fits all, but maybe it’s “one size fits MOST”. My neck is about 18” around, and the Velcro securing strap barely reaches. Best wishes.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It did exactly what I needed

It did exactly what I needed. When my foam-neck collar wasn't enough, I noticed that if I use my hands to lift the weight from my head, then the pain stopped immediately. So my friend suggested an inflatable neck collar as the solution. This one had a combination of [best reviews and lowest price] at the time (Jan 23). It immediately took the pain away like I hoped. I can wear it for 20 minutes instead of needing to lay down. It's even comfortable enough to wear for much longer than that. However, it's not realistic to expect to wear a coat fully zipped, or a hoodie. That seems to cause a new pain for me. It does take like 30 to 40 pumps to get it fully inflated, but it's so very worth it. As far as holding air, it might need a pump or so every 10 minutes. It's not bad at all. Just don't let your pets near it. I'm not a Dr, but I certainly think: 1. You should not have it on constantly. I've heeded the advice where, if it starts to hurt, then you should take it off, or lower the pressure. 2. Don't expect to lay down with it. It's not really designed for that, and might cause new neck damage 3. I can lean back lightly in my chair with it, and it almost helps a little. However, again, it's not really designed for that, and might cause more damage if you're not careful. Backstory: I sustained various fractures and disk herniations in a bike wreck in 2013; Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar. I've been lucky that the pain only creeps back after several years. This time, this product came to the rescue as one of the tools that I'm using to overcome this chronic pain.
