So I pulled the trigger and order the MonsterRax option. I am not sure where others have had issues putting this unit together, but for us it was an easy install and all the instructions matched perfectly. Secondly, the look is better given the bottom has a "lip" that is thicker than the competition. So I very much prefer the bold look of the MonsterRax vs the other unit I have. I have no worries about its sturdiness what so ever. The shipping, yes, that was annoying. It ships in two packages rather than one- first you get the brackets (ours came two days after order) and than you get the wire racks. The seller was responsive when we had the issue and they did what they could. My only wish was the unit did not ship in two boxes or at least that the shipping notifications show that ahead of time. But, that should not change the rating of the product. The 2X8 work very well on the perimeter of the garages where access is only available from one side.
