After drying, then some of the astringent with a cotton pad prior to a final round of my moisturizer of choice. The cotton pad came clean, showing that all the makeup came off, and the astringent was very gentle and not drying. Added bonus, I cannot detect any scent. These two products came packaged together and are small, so great for travel, but not sure how long they'll last for daily use, they are not a full sized product one normally purchases - so a wee bit high priced IMHO.
