Unfortunately it’s working like a strobe light, which I don’t think my neighbors will appreciate. I did read that it could be 1 of 2 things. 1) it is not screwed in correctly or 2) it’s a bad bulb. I unscrewed the bulb and very carefully screwed it back it and it was on! A few minutes later my dog started barking like crazy at the front door and when I went to see what his problem was it was pretty obvious it was that flashing light coming in the side window. Ugh...I hate making returns!!! This will be my first on Amazon so I guess I better read up on the process. These sensors work extremely well, and the light output is exceptionally bright. Worth every penny. I use these in porch lights. Over several years, I've tried various base-mount light sensors to turn incandescent bulbs on and off at dusk/dawn, but inevitably the sensors get plugged up with bugs looking for a place to nest, then they no longer work.
