Exploding Kittens is a wonderful party card game. It can be a really fast pace or can take longer depends on your luck :D. This is the first one of the two expansions available for this game, which adds more players to your game (up to 6). I was so excited when opening the pack. This Expansion deck includes 20 new cards featuring 6 new types of actions and completely changes the games if you are just playing with the base game. Card types: - Feral Cat (4 cards): Is a wild cat card in the base game - Reverse (4 cards): You reverse the order of play - Alter the Future (4 cards): Like see the future, but way better - Target Attack (3 cards): Played like an attack, but you get to pick the player you wish to attack - Draw from the Bottom (4 cards): Draw from the bottom of the pile - Imploding Kittens (1 card): This is the best part of it, where you replace one of the exploding kittens with this card and it cannot be diffused when drawn! Oh, the fun part of this expansion is the cone of shame in the pack for whoever forgets the turn. You get to make fun of your friends even more in the game :D. Some of these new cards make more sense if you are playing with more players. Also, this expansion cannot really be used with the party pack, although you can, I think, but most of the cards are already available in that pack. Overall, this pack is nicely designed and the artwork is terrific and funny and the expansion itself can make the game much more fun if you are the fan of the base game. The only bad thing about this pack is that the pack is a bit larger and could have been smaller, which is not a big deal at all. I include some pictures of the pack and the cards and hope that helps to make the decision.

We’ve been playing Exploding Kittens as a family and decided to try both the Imploding Kittens and Zombie Kittens expansions—and both were solid additions. Imploding Kittens adds a bit more chaos with new cards and the Cone of Shame (which definitely got some laughs), while Zombie Kittens changes the game completely by letting players come back from the dead. That twist keeps everyone in the game longer and adds some fun strategy—especially when someone you thought was out comes back to ruin your plan. If you already like the base game, both expansions are worth picking up. They each add something different but keep the same silly, unpredictable fun that makes the game so good in the first place.

Great addition to exploding kittens. The original game was unique and my wife and I loved showing it off to unsuspecting friends and relatives, but the mechanics of the cards made the game feel more one dimensional than it could have otherwise been. The most fun card to use, the NOPE card, isn't plentiful enough, the defuse cards are far too powerful and encourage hoarding and waiting for the game to end, and some cards felt incomplete, like see the future and shuffle behaved as two halves of one whole. Imploding kittens corrected for practically all of these little gripes that I had with the original game. The defuse cards are noticably less powerful thanks to the imploding kitten, there are other very fun cards to play besides the NOPE card (like the targeted attack), and the see the future and the shuffle cards have been given new life with the mechanics of the imploding kitten. The original game is great, but this expansion completes it.

I so want to give this 5 stars...but the way the game is packaged is just annoying. The Cone of Shame is a fun idea, but the first thing that happened when I opened the really freakishly large package was the Cone of Shame ripped...If you have someone who can't remember who is supposed to be taking their turn, the Cone of Shame is a wonderful tool for this! When someone forgets whose turn it is and asks the players he or she has to wear the Cone of Shame...which has arrows showing the way play is going. If you like Exploding Kittens then you will LOVE this expansion pack! Some of the awesome cards from the online version of Exploding Kittens make an appearance in this expansion pack- like Alter the Future, Revers, Draw from the bottom, and Targeted Attack (Called Slap in the online version). You can play with up to 6 players with the expansion pack added to one of your core decks of Exploding Kittens. We have 3 copies at our house (Which is why in my photos you see a 3 on one of my core deck cards; it is how we easily keep track and it is easier to separate the decks when needed (if playing with less people. The Imploding Kitten card is truly evil card, but it makes the game pretty unpredictable! We really love the expansion pack and are looking forward to playing with a larger group (we played with 3 players the first few times we played)

Honestly nothing special. The only new cards you get are 4x reverse and one imploding kitten. The rest is just more of the old cards.

My 10 yo got the original for Christmas and it instantly became a family favorite. It’s easy enough that everyone incl 7yo can play and the perfect combination of strategi and luck to make it interesting for everyone. This expansion added some awesome new cards and the cone of shame was hilarious for everyone but me, who was the one stuck with it..

Cette extension est géniale! Les nouvelles cartes viennent vraiment compléter le jeu initial (et avec le cône de la honte fourni ce sont des fous rires assurés). Les cartes sont en anglais mais elles ne sont vraiment pas compliquées à comprendre.. Par contre attention le dos des cartes n'est pas le même que le jeu initial en français (donc quand on pioche on sait par avance si ce sera une carte de l'extension ou pas), il faut donc prévoir des protèges cartes opaques d'un côté et transparent de l'autre..
