After nearly a decade of faithful use, my Villaware Uno Waffle Maker with interchangeable heart and Belgian waffle plates finally broke. It was a sad day for our household, but we had to move on and look for another waffle iron as Villaware no longer makes that particular iron. After some searching, we finally settled on the B&D Double Flip Waffle Maker. While I loved my Villaware, the B&D waffle iron is quickly filling that empty space in both my heart and stomach. The Double Flip Waffle Maker heats up quickly, is beautifully nonstick, and get this - it makes TWO waffles at ONE time! Now, instead of having to split a waffle for my kids to share while I heat up a second one for them to share again so they would have a full waffle to eat each, I can heat up two waffles, have them eat their breakfasts at the same time without having to break anything in half, and have enough time to make an actually waffle for both me and my husband. This waffle maker was a breakfast game changer for our family! While this iron lacks a temperature control that my old waffle iron had, I've discovered over the years that I actually left the temp at the same spot simply because once a perfect setting was discovered, I never needed to change it. This waffle iron is in perpetual "perfect setting" mode. The waffles I've made come out crisp on the outside, lightly browned, and familiarly delicious. Simply pour in the batter, close, flip, pour in more batter, flip again, and wait for the iron to stop steaming. For those who don't multitask, you will need to set a timer as this one doesn't have any timers or beepers to let you know your waffle is done. The one gripe I have is that this iron doesn't come with removable plates for easy cleaning, but because the plates are so non stick, the plates were easy enough to clean with a simple wipe down. Overall, I'm very pleased with this waffle iron. We've had it for a month now with frequent use - I'm looking forward to many more delicious waffle breakfasts to come!

This is the best waffle maker. It heats up fast and the size and thickness of the waffle is perfect. This waffle maker is durable and easy to clean. Having the ability to make two waffles at once makes it easy to get breakfast done in a flash. It's a little expensive but it pays for itself after using it a few times. I highly recommend purchasing this rotating waffle maker! It's worth it!

There is an old saying that goes "Perfect is the enemy of Good Enough". And that is a great summation of this waffle makers performance. Is it perfect? Nope. Is it Good Enough? Yep. Even better than a baseline Good Enough. For a two-sided Belgian Waffle maker, it gets the job done at a VERY low price point. We like Belgian waffles with a nicely browned crust and this unit delivers perfect waffles for us in four and a half minutes. Lighter waffles even faster. The waffles are the perfect single serving size and having a pair come up each time makes things go very quickly. Highly recommended.

This makes excellent waffles and is great value for the price. The included drip tray is an added bonus and helps keep things from getting messy and is easy to clean. I knocked off one star just because it does not include a timer or any temperature adjustments. You have to track it on your own which can be difficult when doing two at a time, but we figured it out and made lots of great waffles.

I had a cheap Farberware dual waffle maker, my first one. Sadly, the Farberware got broken due to the abuse it sustained from my (now EX) girlfriend's son, and I needed a new dual waffle iron. Black & Decker, decent price? Count me in. Sometimes reality bites you hard. Despite being cheap in both price and construction, the Farberware made slightly bigger waffles than this, and definitely heated up and cooked WAY faster than this Black & Decker. I would make waffles and scrambled eggs, and learned the Farberware required me to remove the fully cooked waffles before I could beat and cook the eggs. This one? I plug it in then make the waffle mix. I grab the eggs and other ingredients and begin the rest of the prep. I shell and beat the eggs by the time this thing heats up enough and the green LED shows it's ready. I put in the mix on both sides and walk away for a while. Maybe 5-7 minutes. I then go back to the eggs, and start heating the pan. Pan hot, I cook the eggs fully trying to time it so the waffles and eggs come out at the same time. Nope. Eggs are done 3-5 minutes before the waffles are. STILL. After dragging my feet on everything else. I'm glad I found a decent dual waffle maker at a decent price, and was expecting to be at least as good as that cheap Farberware that isn't made anymore. I'd take that Farberware over this. This waffle iron is just decent, but not for anyone in a hurry. You're gonna be waiting a while.

Do not buy consumer durables from Amazon ever again as they are promoting cheats who deliver defective products and run off with your hard earned money.
