Glad we did so. Stainless steel conducts temperature, which is good. You get the hot or cold liquid pretty much as it is in the mug or glass, but the silicone tip keeps the chill or heat off your lips. The effect is crazy! My wife and I felt like we were in the lap of luxury with these tips.
