However, it would be helpful if the Amazon product description included the installation installation materials (they are printed on the inside of the box). From a programming point of view it is 3 detectors, each required detection function requiring its own zone. The installation materials should include a description of defining the custom word for "flood" or "water", neither of which are predefined in the Vista code. The installation instruction says the unit response is 40 seconds (nominal) to one minute (maximal). I've tested my unit and the response time in 3 tries is from 20 seconds to 30 seconds. I prefer the 5800FLOOD over the 5821 because of the faster response time (the 5821 may take up to 3 minutes).
