Will this work for an rgbwa+uv par light? do i need a special controller for control of the w,a, & uv?

I'm not sure about this specific model, but I know for a fact the other Co-Z controller does. I've been using it for my RGBAW+UV for the past year & 1/2. They're not the best made pieces of equipment ever, but the price is cheap enough to have a few on hand as a backup when the inevitable happens. I had a Chauvet Obey40 that went down quickly also, so I don't think it matters too much about price vs quality.

How do i find out the dmx adresses

On the controller, the addresses are in blocks of 16 on the "scanners", starting at 001->016 for Scanner 1, 017-032 for Scanner 2, etc. On the DMX units themselves, there is some sort of display indicating the starting address for the fixture, usually an LED set, but on some older ones, just a set of DIP switches.

display screen flickers and foes crazy when i try to use. What is wrong?

Since I don't know exactly how you are using it, hard to say. It could be the controller itself has an internal problem. If you have more than one light or dimmer and a long cable, have you put a terminator on the end of the last unit? Noise on the DMX lines can affect both lights and the controller.

I have 8 led lights. i want to be able to set scenes such as all red, all blue, all green and all on. can this controller do that?

Piece of junk don’t buy even for one light. I had 6 lights hooked up and would stay lit for approx 4 mins then the lights would go out. Had to restart the board every 4-6 minutes. Lights were daisy chained. Took 5 lights off snd just had the single light same problem.
