Worked perfectly to protect my boots through snow and slush!
I was going to visit my family in Iowa the first week of December and wanted to wear some rather expensive lug sole boots because they are stylish but also warm and expected to be supportive and sturdy in the event of snow or ice. I got this product to protect them from wet weather and if slushy, salt and other products that may be in the mix in winter weather conditions. I sprayed 3 or 4 coats, letting dry completely before each new coat. The application process was simple and the product did not in any way damage the boots or lead to discoloration or spotting. As it turned out, a massive snow storm hit the week before we went and we had 7 inches of snow one night while we were there. So yes - all my fears of wet and slush came true. Even the somewhat unexpected need to trudge through snow that pretty much buried my boots. But, my boots were perfectly protected and still look as good as the day I left for Iowa. I was delighted! Attached is a pic I took after returning to CA. I did nothing special to clean them after the trip and before taking this picture โ heck, I didnโt even swipe a soft cloth over them before taking the picture. They truly just repelled the water and slush and muck!

Ultimate Protection from Stains
Iโve purchased the Apple Brand Garde Rain & Stain Water Repellent multiple times. I can confidently say itโs a game-changer for anyone who wants to protect their favorite accessories. This product has become a staple in my care routine as someone who owns several handbags, shoes, and even some furniture pieces that I want to keep in pristine condition. What I appreciate most about this spray is its versatility. It works wonders on various materials, including delicate vachette leather, which can be tricky to maintain. Iโve used it on my luxury handbags without any worries about altering the color or texture. The formula is lightweight and dries clear, so you can barely tell itโs there after application. The effectiveness of the Apple Garde spray is another reason I keep coming back to it. Iโve used it in various weather conditions, and it consistently provides a solid layer of protection against water and stains. Whether caught in a sudden downpour or accidentally spilling something on my shoes, this spray has proven to be a reliable shield. Moreover, the application process is straightforward. Just a few sprays, and youโre good to go! I recommend applying it in a well-ventilated area and allowing sufficient drying time to ensure the best results. Overall, suppose youโre looking for a reliable, effective water repellent that wonโt alter the color or quality of your items. In that case, the Apple Brand Garde Rain & Stain Water Repellent is worth every penny. Iโll continue to buy this product as long as itโs availableโmy accessories deserve the best protection, and Iโve found it here!

Very little in the can
Spray works great for weatherizing shoes and boots. Very little in the can. Does maybe 3 pair of shoes/boots. Way too expensive for the amount in the can

Protect Your Luxury Items!
I use this stuff for all my luxury bags and my shoes to keep them clean and free of any dirt or stains. Works so well I keep it in stock at all times. Just spray evenly in a well ventilated area or outside, let dry for 1 hour and youโre good to go. I reapply every 6 months. Repels water too. The best stuff ever!!!

High quality. repelled water hours after applying a heavy coating.
high quality. I sprayed my leather sandals, and spilled some water at the water fountain. The water beaded up and did exactly what I expected a good repellent to do. I applied a good heavy coat and allowed to air dry overnight.

Winter in Paris= Rain.
I bought some leather Chelsea boots to wear while visiting Paris in February. I knew I would be walking the streets for a week and it could be snow or rain and it turned outโฆ Rain. Iโm so thankful I bought this spray and treated my boots before I left. It worked perfectly! I even treated some black suede boots for a dress up night while there. Again, the spray worked perfectly and didnโt affect the look of my suede boots. Great purchase!

I should have used this on my first LV!!
This product works. I did a ton of research and watched videos about it before I finally built up the courage to treat my new lv carryall. I had read some scary reviews which made me a little nervous, but took the risk anyway. I wanted to experience less anxiety about using my beautiful new bag! Overall, the process went smoothly, but it took some time. Protecting the canvas and gold hardware in detail was tedious, but absolutely necessary. Don't skip this step! The directions on the product do not indicate covering non-leather surfaces, they only advise to make sure the leather is absolutely clean before treatment. But you must protect the coated canvas and hardware to prevent staining. My Process::: I used ScotchBlue painter's tape to cover the monogram canvas surrounding the natural cowhide details such as the stripes and handles. I removed the leather name tag and loop handle belt strap and treated those separately. I also used the tape to cover any exposed hardware and removed the padlock from the zipper closure for safekeeping. The painterโs tape worked as expected and left no sticky residue. I covered and treated one side at a time to avoid mistakes. I sprayed the first coat, waited 30 min and then applied the second coat. I repeated this process for all four sides of the bag. **WARNING** 1) You must avoid soaking the vachetta at all costs as this will leave watermark-like stains. Only spray the leather enough so it looks shiny wet, but not darkened or soaked. The spray will dry very quickly in some areas and take some time to dry in others. Don't let this uneven drying scare you into spraying more to even out the marks. This will cause soaking and will probably result in a stain -- so be conservative with your spraying! 2) Also, keep an eye out for the spray solution seeping under loose tape borders and pooling below your protective cover. This will result in shiny residue drying on the canvas which can be hard to wipe off. If you get some spray on the canvas, don't freak out. This is totally fine as it will evaporate quickly. If a large amount of spray gets on the coated canvas and pooling develops, wipe it off with your hand immediately. I found this worked the best as the solution stuck to my hands and came right off the bag. When I used a facial tissue, its fuzz got stuck to the residue and onto the bag, so avoid using paper products to wipe it off. I also tried a wet cloth, but failed. My hand worked the best, lol. Do the same if any spray gets on the hardwareโ I hope this helps! Cheers :)
