And it is fantastic! It's actually slightly better then the first 'Rivals' game, Batman vs Joker! G vs S adds a tons of much needed THEME (something the DC games have been seriously lacking) to the DC line of games.Many of the cards have faction now have 'faction symbols' (Green Lanterns vs Yellow Lanterns) on them that give the player a slight bonus to acquire and play cards of the same faction! Also, even the base cards (punch, weaknesses, etc) have thematic artwork that allow players to have their starting decks composed completely of either Green or Yellow Lantern cards! A very nice touch! The location cards are also exclusively drawn from the GL comics.Green Lantern vs SInestro also has a new deck of 'Construct' cards that reflect (no pun untended) the light abilities of the various colored rings! VERY cool! The constructs represent using green and yellow light to create things like walls, shields, fists and even missiles! Awesome stuff! There are a whole set of cards in this expansion that allow players to acquire these constructs and chain them to do amazing attacks and other powers! Very thematic!This set is a MUST OWN for fans of The Green Lantern, the DC Deck Building Game and for fans of the Rivals spin off! NOW!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent for DC or GL fans *by D***N on February 17, 2020* Me and my friends found this easy to understand how to play and very enjoyable with just one of the base sets or even when we started integrating the expansion packs! Very versatile and has a lot of freedom in being able to custom the game you want with your favorite cards.Simple base system for beginners and with each expansion pack it adds a new optional gameplay mode! You can play the same way or you can change game modes, you can do versus with friends, or fight against the campaign, or team up with friends against other friends or co-op in the campaign story. There's so much to enjoy here, and the best part is that you could just buy any of the base sets and still just enjoy that without needing to get any other expansions.Will be playing this with my groups of friends for many years to come. Looking forward to the new Dark Nights: Metal expansion coming this year (2020) too! Also shows there's a lot of support from the creators and fans along the years. Compared to the Dc Rivals Batman vs Joker, this one is a lot faster than it. The games for this usually come down to the last hero rather than victory points. The game switches it up by adding new cards called "constructs" that combo off your hero or other cards in the game. Although this game can be mixed with other game variations, i believe its best for a stand-alone 1v1 because of the way the cards combo off each other.
