Prior to this purchase, I used a plastic case that only covered the back/side of my phone while the front was covered with a screen protector. Even though I don’t feel I’m overly rough on phones, I have gone through about one screen protector every 6 months and a plastic case each year. After seeing other people with phone case “wallets” that cover both the front and back, I started considering them and found the Lupa Lightweight Faux Leather Wallet Case. Since the reviews were good I ordered the Rose Gold and couldn’t be happier!The case is beautiful (you would never guess faux leather), and the color is spot on: that perfect light, shimmery pink. In addition to looking nice, I also love how thin it is compared to some wallet cases I’ve seen; it doesn’t add a lot of bulk. The latch is magnetic and works in both directions to keep your phone closed or open depending on what you need at the time, which is a great feature. The “wallet” part of the case is inside the cover and next to the screen. It provides three slots for cards (driver license, credit card, etc.) and a flap under the card slots for cash. The case bulks up a bit when these are added but doesn’t stretch out when you remove them, which is great!The only aspect of the case I would change involves the camera. When you want to take a picture, you need to leave the case open otherwise the front cover blocks either your screen or the camera. However, I think this would be an issue with every phone case “wallet,” not just this one.Even after more than a month’s use, this case still looks brand new. Luckily, with this case, I always have the ability to have what I need most - my ID, credit/debit card, and iPhone. The case can fit 3 cards and 4 bills. Unlike other brands, which of most only fit 1 bill, this case fits three cards and has room for my ID in the inner pocket.It came with a screen protector as well, which was a nice bonus. As you put in more cards, it still stays lean and the magnetic clasp ensures that it stays closed. It was easy to insert the phone into case and easy to take it out, by simply pressing down on the edges of the case while pulling up on the phone. It fits well into my purse, which is a very tiny purse. It is well fitted to the phone. All outlets for earphones and chargers are easily accessible without having to move anything out of the way. It took a day or two to get accustomed to the folding back of the wallet to text and call but now it is second nature and I can easily text or talk on the phone with no issues.Added bonus - screen brightness solution! Something that I hadn't thought about but that I've actually really enjoyed is being able to have something that blocks out my screen. More than 3 bills and hard to close. I did things like take picture of my health card and student ID, and put my customer cards in car. They could have designed an outside flap to make the option of adding 1 card. There's design room to improve storage efficiency -- the phone is not meant to detach easily.
