Gets very hot
Got this for my tortoise terrarium. Rescued a baby bird and put in there temporarily to keep him warm. Works great however, does it ever get hot to touch. Hand feeding baby bird, burnt my arm twice by accidently touching it. Burnt it good and singed my ponytail. So works great for heat but be careful around it!

Good for chicks.
This bulb is pretty epic.If you are looking to buy heat bulb with no light this is pretty good.It came with thermometer and This works very good for baby chicks.Would recommend for epic gamers.If you have it about 8 inches above ground level it gets to about 100 on surface temperature.

Nice, hot ceramic heat emitter
This works very well on my friend's bearded dragon, he loves it and sits under it for hours. It emits a lot more heat than expected and the thermometer seems to be working well!

Best night heat
It is a need. If you have a cool house or during winter you have to keep a tank warm 24/7 without light. Reptiles need to sleep too.

Great value for the money
Works great. My house is cold so I have this on with the basking light all the time. It's been a couple of months and hasn't gone out yet. Most cermic emitter name brands are super expensive. This was very reasonable and works great so far.

Works great, LOVE the digital thermometer. Just got it so can’t comment on longevity but so far so great.

Works perfect..., except for the switch.
Works as advertised. Would give five stars but there’s no on/off Indicator marks on the switch. Have to push the rocker and wait to see if it heats up..., and maybe burn your finger.
