Is the source of the bile salt bovine, or is it vegan / vegetarian ? Are there any animal products whatsoever in this formulation ???

Plants don't have livers or gall bladders! Only animals have livers and gall bladders. Until someone invents a non animal derived liver, there will never be a vegan source of bile salts, which are the most important ingredient in this product.

You need to ask yourself if your vegan principles are more important than stopping your gall bladder attacks and avoiding surgery. There is no vegan alternative.

Question 2

is the company planning to change to vegan caps????  i want to buy it but i do not like the gelatin part!

Bile salts are extracted from "harvested" male cows, or oxen. That means dead animals. There is no vegan source of bile salts because plants don't have livers or gall bladders.

Why are you worried about the gelatin coating if the main active ingredient in the caps comes from culled cows? Think about it... Unless you are alergic to gelatin, you'll have to accept that bile salts come from dead animals and there is no vegan option.

So you need to ask yourself if your vegan principles are more important than gall bladder health... Because you can't have both if you need bile salts to avoid gall bladder attacks or surgery.

Question 3

The Instructions say take one capsule with meals. Does this mean take one capsule per day? Or does it mean take one capsule everytime with every meal?

Most of Dr Berg's patients don't actually eat 3 meals a day.  Dr Berg tends to recommend intermittant fasting, during which many people eat either 2 meals, or, more often, just one meal a day.
However, it is good to take one capsule each time you consume a meal, as it will aid in digestion of the food.

Are they enteric coated?

No, no need for that coating. They are capsules that literally work within an hour of taking them!  Try them. These ACTUALLY saved me from having my Gallbladder removed! My bike duct was open and the stones were so bad. I started taking these and within 2 days I had a normal bowel movement for the first time in almost a year. I can't be without these. They completely releaved me of all my symptoms. Bloating, stomach cramps, abdominal pain every single day 10 times a day. I forgot what it was like to be normal. Now I am. I don't see surgery in my future. I had a gastric bypass and I can't take anything more than Tylenol. These don't bother my stomach at all. I say if you're suffering, try these. Good luck to you.
