Great product!!! *by D***E on April 30, 2025* This is a great ukulele!! Sounds good and comes with so many things you need to start off playing with. The quality is great and holding and playing the ukulele is so comfortable! Also the color of this ukulele is amazing! So bright and fun. Another thing I love is that the 5th, 7th, 10th, 12th, and the 15th fret has different colors which makes it easy to get to the right fret. The case is great as well. It has padding all around the case which I loved and the padding is pretty thick which makes it really safe when you put the ukulele in. Would definitely recommend! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful experience with a wonderful product *by D***. on August 30, 2024* I have now owned the Balnna concert high gloss ukulele for just over five weeks. I have adjusted the tuning each day as the strings settle in, the adjust is getting less and less as they have found their spots, the C string, for me, being the most stretchy, but often not having to touch G, E, or A. After a quick tuning, I can easily play for an hour plus before even thinking about the tuner, usually it's me who just needs a break & I go to do something else, pick up the uke later in the day and she's still in tune. I write about this as it was a concern for me after reading other reviews, I have found it to not be an issue whatsoever other than the usual new strings tuning. The ukulele has a nice mellow sound, it is not as bright as some soprano ukuleles, but that's the nature of sizing up to a concert. I am happy with the sound, the resonance, the playability. The tuning pegs hold nicely, no issues at this time with the build, seems like she will hold together for years to come. After playing a soprano, this was my first time using a concert ukulele and I really liked how much easier it was for my larger hands / fingers to use, it's perfect. I have seen, in the past, there was a tenor version of the high gloss available, and I would love to try that one as well, but so far, I haven't seen any available. I am over half a century old, I am enjoy this ukulele greatly, and I am also using it to teach my teenager music appreciation, as it is easy on the fingers and fun to play, and after years of protesting learning music, I find him picking it up and playing it on his own with a few of the super easy beginner books, that teach both chords and fingering, I have left strategically placed around the house. Highly recommend this ukulele, and while I don't use the case often because I tend to place it on a stand for easy access, the case is super nice. The tuner works well enough, but I have a favorite tuner I bought years ago that I still use as my go-to primary tuner. Nice that it comes with an extra string set, I hope not to have to evaluate those for a good time yet, but they seem good enough. I don't use the picks, but I do use the super nice neck strap, love it!! Overall, one of my favorite, pure pleasure, amazon buys. BTW, came in good shape as well. The coloring is bright. The sound and shape are perfect. The tuner is compact, has a long lasting battery, and works. The strap is beautiful. The ukulele is well made and durable. The colored strings help her learn the different notes. The carry bag has multiple handles (backpack style or hand carry) and has made it easier to both tote the instrument to and from school, and store the various pieces (tuner, strap, extra strings, pick). She’s rough on zippers and likes to shove stuff into a small space and then force the zipper to close. Both the ukulele and zipper have survived.
