Bought this at a really good price in a sale so worth giving it a go despite not knowing the brand. I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a real quality piece of kit, great build, light to hold and easy to use from charging to cutting. Gives a great cut and the battery seems to last forever. Better still the battery is very quick to charge. I would go as far to say it’s the best hedge trimmer I’ve had despite owning a number of big branded pieces of equipment.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Powerful and convenient for tackling a large hedge! The Einhell Cordless Hedge Trimmer has been a game changer for me. I was struggling to get a gardener to come out to tackle our 15 m by 2 m hedge, so I decided to invest in a good-quality cordless trimmer and this one handled the job exceptionally well. The 18V battery provides solid power throughout the trim, and it cut through thick and overgrown branches without any fuss. It’s lightweight and well-balanced, which made it comfortable to use for an extended period, and the cordless design meant I could move freely along the length of the hedge without worrying about trailing cables or extension leads. The blade length is generous, allowing large swathes of the hedge to be trimmed in fewer passes, saving a lot of time. Setup was straightforward, and the safety features like the dual-switch operation give peace of mind during use. After finishing, I was impressed with how tidy and professional the hedge looked. The trimmer feels sturdy and well-made, and the battery system is compatible with other Einhell Power X-Change tools, which is a bonus if you already have other tools in the range. Very good and efficient at cutting normal hedging and battery very good not as powerful as my old cable Trimmer can’t cut through the larger branches still I like its portability and it’s very lightweight so overall very good will have to cut the larger branches with a saw or bolt clipper 👍

Excellent hedge cutter, makes short work of cutting overgrown hedging. Very pleased with this product, it is lightweight, easy to handle and slices through all kinds of hedging with no problem at all. I have previously purchased the Einhell drill and reciprocating saw (fabulous for rapid cutting through thick wood) which I have been using to build raised beds on my allotment plot, so I already had the 3.0ah battery and the battery charger, so didn't need to pay extra for these. Note: if you don't have these products already you are looking at another £70-80ish, but in my opinion well worth it, particularly if you are going to buy other equipment in future, and I have been very impressed with Einhell products so far. This product was therefore the obvious choice when I needed a replacement hedge cutter, as already having the other accessories I thought it was really good value. The cutting blade is superb, I oiled it with some 3in1 on arrival then set about 2hrs of hedge cutting, it went through a mixed 'bush' type hedge (not really a hedge, just ridiculous scrub), then a beech hedge, then a massive holly hedge with ease. I used to use a Flymo extendable cutter, which was not only hard work and too heavy to handle but the cutting blade was useless so I used to end up re-doing it by hand with manual hedge trimmers to get a decent finish, not so with the Einhell which leaves a very smooth surface. My only gripe for this is not about the product, but about the Hermes courier who delivered it. Delivery day came and went, they said they had been, but no card was left and I was in all day, so I knew they hadn't attempted, then the next day they turned up with it and stood in my front garden for a bit looking confused, it was purely by chance that I happened to be passing the front door at the time and so went out to see who it was. The cutter was in a very large amazon box, but the 'prime' seal had already been cut open with a Stanley knife, then someone had messily wrapped some brown parcel tape around it again to keep the box together. Okay I thought, lets see what is in the box - I opened it to find the hedge cutter also in its original box, but this too had been cut open at the top and left with the flap lying open. Nothing was missing, but it looked to me very much like someone in the Hermes warehouse had been looking for portable items to steal - maybe they thought there would be an expensive battery in here easy to take out or other item to steal. Seriously not impressed with Hermes and Amazon should re-consider their use as a delivery agent if they are going around opening peoples parcels to check what is inside.

really pleased with its performance, thought its not that great at cutting 5 mm branches. Having not had one of these before, I don't know if that is the norm or not. Battery lasts a good while and charges relatively fast. Not to heavy, lighter than expected. Noise wise it is relatively quite.

I recently purchased this hedge strimmer, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. Despite choosing the longer blade, it is still fairly light weight therefore reducing strain during extended use. There is a bit of assembly required, specifically for the handle, but it’s a straightforward process. The instructions were clear, and I had it ready to go within minutes. The blade is impressively sharp, which was a significant advantage when dealing with our tough, overgrown hedges. The cutting was smooth and efficient, saving me a lot of time and effort. I had previously used manual shears, so strimmer saved me so much time. For anyone who doesn’t want to spend all day cutting hedges by hand, this is the perfect solution. It turns what used to be a long, laborious chore into a quick and satisfying task. I didn’t buy a battery, as we had one from another Einhell appliance, making this even more of a valuable addition to our garden tool collection. Highly recommended!

Good product and value for money. The box was a bit tatty and left in the wrong place though.

Einhell è sicuramente sinonimo di attrezzi di qualità al giusto prezzo. Utilizzo questo tagliasiepi da tempo, la qualità del taglio è veramente stupefacente. Il fatto che sia alimentato a batteria è un reale cambio di paradigma rispetto agli strumenti a filo (non parliamone più) o a benzina (scomodi, pesanti, necessitanti infinita manutenzione). Se devo fare un appunto è sul fatto che Einhell come tutti gli usa un innesto proprietario per le batterie che non è compatibile altro che con gli strumenti della stessa marca. Purtroppo questo è un vizio che hanno tutti i produttori. Devo ammettere comunque che la durata della batteria sia per autonomia che per durata in sé é sorprendente.

Llevo varias semanas usando el cortasetos Einhell, y sinceramente, ha superado mis expectativas. Tenía dudas sobre si un modelo a batería podría igualar a uno con cable, pero este Einhell me ha demostrado que sí se puede tener potencia, comodidad y libertad de movimiento en una sola herramienta. Además tengo otras herramientas de la marca y el poder usar la misma batería para todos ellos es magnífico.

Wir haben hier diverse Hecken und kleinere Büsche und irgendwann kommt man nicht mehr nach mit der einfachen Gartenschere. Deshalb haben wir uns zuerst ein mal in unseren 3 Baumärkten in der Nähe umgesehen und waren etwas enttäuscht von der echt geringen Auswahl. Wäre ja schon schön gewesen die neue Anschaffung vorher mal auf Handhabung zu testen. Im Endeffekt haben wir dann hier das gute und günstige Modell von Einhell bestellt. Auch weil wir bereits das Akkusystem besitzen. Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und die Akkuheckenschere kam gut verpackt an. Mit dabei hat man noch den Schwertschutz und eine Anleitung. Wenn die Akkus vorgeladen sind kann es eigentlich gleich losgehen. Wir haben sie gleich mal getestet und sind sehr zufrieden. Die Qualität ist wirklich gut. Wir haben schon einige Geräte von Einhell und sind auch diesmal sehr zufrieden. Wirklich sehr gut verarbeitet. Die Schere ist zu dem sehr handlich da nicht zu groß (88cm) und nicht zu schwer (ohne Akku etwa 2kg und mit etwa 2,4kg). Damit kann sogar ich als Mädchen problemlos mal die Runde drehen im Garten. Bedienung ist auch einfach. Einfach den Bügel zusammen drücken und dann den Schalter im Griff drücken (Zweihand-Sicherheitsschalter). Schon surrt sie los und schneidet durch Äste bis 11mm fast wie durch Butter. Ich hab sonst eher Respekt vor großen lauten Geräten mit scharfen Schneiden und überlasse dass den Jungs, aber damit macht es sogar mir Spaß und es geht leicht von der Hand. Nur in großer Höhe muss dann doch hin und wieder Mann ran. Wir haben etwa eine halbe Stunde Hecken getrimmt und danach war der Akku etwa halb leer. Die Schnittzeit von einer Stunde pro Ladung kommt also auch sehr gut hin. Das Praktische ist zu dem dass man mit dem Gerät dank des Akkus fast über all hin kommt ohne Kabel. Das ganz schön lang sein müsste und dazu mich stören würde. So hat man viel mehr Bewegungsfreiheit und Möglichkeiten. Und von der Lautstärke her kann man auch nicht meckern. Da sind Benzin-betriebene Geräte schon viel lauter. Außerdem finden wir das System mit den Wechsel-Akkus sehr gut. Ein mal ein oder zwei davon gekauft samt Schnellladegerät und dann kann man günstig die Geräte dazu kaufen die passen. Das spart Geld und schont die Umwelt. Fazit: Wer schon die Akkus dazu besitzt oder sich umsieht nach mehr als nur einem Werkzeug mit Akku hat hier ein gutes System zur Auswahl und kann sparen. Die Heckenschere ist von typischer guter Qualität, ist leicht, sehr mobil und leicht bedienbar, bringt aber wirklich eine gute Leistung und dass Ergebnis ist schnell und kann sich sehen lassen.
