I have multiple severe antibiotic allergies, and olive leaf extract has been a lifesaver. I have never had any side effects at all. However, it does slightly lower your blood pressure and blood glucose -- neither has been an issue for me, but would be worth noting if you are hypoglycemic or hypotensive. I am not one to take a supplement without extensive research, or to expect it to work for me simply because it has for someone else. But olive leaf extract really has been very safe and effective for both me and family/friends. Without going into the typical 9 page sobbing history of what I tried and all of my symptoms - olive leaf cured me. I take one pill a day. For the first four days, I had an intense sinus headache and stomach issues. Then they went away. I cycle off for a week, sometimes a month and when the symptoms come back, the olive leaf works. In October/November, when they're the worse, I will take Olive leave twice a day.
