Pellon Shape-Flex Woven Interfacing-15 X2 Yards

I used this interfacing somewhat unconventionally… to patch a vintage sheet that had shredded in several places due to the aged fabric’s encounter with my apt building’s killer washing machine. I rounded the corners to minimize fraying, and initially was planning to mend after stabilizing the fabric with the iron on support, but decided to see how it worked on its own. It has survived several washings already and it’s a much softer and more flexible solution than similar iron on patches, so it’s actually comfortable. The destroyed sheet matches a vintage bedding set and it’s not replaceable, so I’m pleased this turned out to be an inexpensive way to salvage it for additional use.

Measures 15 inches x 2 yards. Came in a roll and is woven(what I was looking for). Using on hand embroidery that has been completed and will be added as patches on a blanket.

Liked this interfacing for making an all cotton dress for my 3 year old granddaughter. Easy to use- perfect for using with buttons. Price reasonable.
