Actually used in anger in 40 cm of snow. Chains fitted easily (if you are used to chains or follow instructions) and no problems pulling away on icy base layer and a lot of snow on top. No slip on a steep gradient road and when I stopped to tighten they had little to no give so had fitted well first time. Recommend to practice in dry first, have a pair of warm work gloves and look after the mending kit (I lost min in a pile of snow and cant seem to get a replacement) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good chains *by B***T on 19 November 2024* They are not bad quality, I have similar for my van,but with thicker chain links. You really got to practise with them before you get stuck. It will be to late if you do not practise. I have used tape,to keep the to halves separate as the will get tangled. Just do not use a knife to cut the tape,when ready for use.as if you cut yourself. You won't be fitting the chains. Remember your hands and for arms will get dirty, so keep some gloves in the car. After a couple of goes fitting them. It will only take a minute to fit. We'll worth having them.
