Review: Lovely little lamp. - I was fed-up of trying to read in bed with the lamp I currently had as it had a small and dark shade. So I decided to do something about it and looked for 2 days online to find something with a slightly larger shade in a lighter colour, and a base almost the size of the old lamp. Now I'm not usually in favour of touch activated lamps and tend to avoid them, but I thought "what the heck" and decided to give this lamp a go. The lamp was a little lower in price because it was described as "Condition: Used - Good - Medium scratches/tarnishing on the metal. Item will come repackaged." However when I received the lamp it was indeed repackaged - in bubblewrap & shredded cardboard and in an desertcart box - but there was no sign of any scratches or tarnishes to the lamp body itself, or the shade. I installed the lamp last night and was very pleased with the size of it, and the light it gave off, and I had a good read of my kindle book with none of the eyestrain I usually have.
