Observation: on pulling the piston of both the plastic cylinder-piston simultaneously the bridge moves up and gets open up. While on pushing it you will observe that it gets down again forming the bridge again. In how it works on pulling and pushing the piston of the plastic cylinder-piston the bridge moves up and down. This happens because of the water pressure. First on pushing the piston, the water in the open cylinder-piston experience pressure. As a result the water from it gets force to move to the cylinder-piston of the pillars. Thus in turn the water exerts pressure on the piston of the cylinder-piston of pillars and it moves out. Thus as the piston of pillars moves up the bridge along with it moves up. The reverse happens on pulling the piston of cool plastic cylinder-piston and the bridge gets down. Hence with any heavy mechanism and engine we can make a hydraulic bridge.
