We cut the mat to fit the area that needed to be covered. We watered and did everything that we were supposed to do, and the grass seed never sprouted. The mat is still down and covering the bare dirt, but there is no grass. ### ⭐ VERY LOUSY PRODUCT THAT DOES NOT WORK *by J***C on August 5, 2015* Do not purchase this item, I think the top cover for the seeds is too thick, they do not germinate, You will waste your money. Amazon needs to take this item off their selling brochure. I had it in place foe over a month. I seeded it under it with Canadian seed grass they were growing from under the paper of these seeds. I also think there were not enough seed in place. Sorry for the bad review. But a lousy product is a lousy product that does not function as claimed. Thank you but I will never and will tell friends and family to avoid this Product.
