After noticing how quickly I was using up the expensive branded ink cartridges for my inkjet printer due to all the labels I was printing, I decided I needed to get a thermal printer. Thermal printers in general don't use ink to print (hence the reason why I needed one) and this printer is no different in that aspect but the reasons why I ended up choosing the MUBYN RW405B printer over all the other thermal printers are it connects via Bluetooth (important criteria for me because I mainly print from my phone), it can print in red and blue in addition to black, and it has a replaceable printer head. The last reason is what ultimately convince me to get this printer over the other because due to its replaceable printer head, the MUNBYN RW405B printer is supposed to last 3 times longer than other thermal printers. While I can't attest to that yet, when comparing the price of this printer to other thermal printers that support Bluetooth connection, I felt like the price was comparable enough that I should go with the printer that would last longer. I also like that this printer has a label holder which is usually sold separately from other printers and that it includes a pack of 30 4x6 labels and 2 packs of stickers. Setting up this printer and connecting it to my phone via Bluetoot was easy. The app is easy to use and walks you through navigating the features. The labels I've been able to print thus far are clear and I look forward to seeing how this printer performs long term.

I truly never leave bad reviews. I just normally chalk it up and go on and simply return said item BUT this thermal printer is absolutely awful. I had a cheaper one for 3 years and it finally but the dust. So I’ve been looking at different ones and saw many people recommend this item on their Amazon storefront. So considering the price I thought it surely was better than my last one. I was very WRONG. Literally won’t print and when it does only smears like the one pictured. It would print a few labels then completely shut down not printing AT ALL. I’m hoping I just maybe got a default one but it still caused a great deal of problems the day I’m filling orders and it decides it’s not working.

The only thing I wish is that there were an option to print color labels — that would make it even better! But overall, I’m super happy with the quality and consistency across all their products.
