Review: Enjoyable book! - Last su mer we drove a few hundred miles of the route in Missour, Kansas and Oklahoma. This book was very helpful, not just to find interesting places, but to give their history. The route is often confusng, since the roads have been changed and highways built nearby. But the book is helpful in regards to directions. Reading it is as much fun ad riving the road. (As a shameless advertisement I’ll tell you that by far the best place on our trip was Gary’s Gay Parita Sinclair station, about 25 miles west of Springfield. Gary passed in 2015 but his daughter and son in law continue to keep up the museum.)

Last su mer we drove a few hundred miles of the route in Missour, Kansas and Oklahoma. This book was very helpful, not just to find interesting places, but to give their history.
