It has a beanbag type filling so you can shape it accordingly and its sturdy. I do like it.However...It is small. Way smaller than I expected. I have an 8 inch tablet and it just dominates, towers over this tablet stand. It would be more appropriate for my phone. I have a Galaxy S9 phone and it fits better on the tablet stand. But i need the stand for my tablet, not my phone so now i can't use the stand. So if you need it for a device smaller than an 8" tablet then this is a great stand. If you have a thick cover on your iPad, the area to hold the edge of your device is not wide enough. Definitely made for a device NOT in a protective cover.
