2 Pack Aquarium Rubber Connectors Compatible with Fluval FX4 FX5 FX6

Pretty good quality. They fit the hoses for my filter and stay connected

I bought these to replace the old ones.

Works as hoped for FX6

The Fluval FX6 is a legendary filter, known for its longevity. After many years of service, the parts that eventually fail are the rubber gaskets and connectors. They can become brittle from constant contact with warm water, leading to cracks and leaks. I wanted to have spares ready for when my original parts inevitably fail. These replacements look and feel exactly like the originals. The rubber is thick and strong, and they come in a two-pack, just like the OEM version. They function perfectly, and it's great to have peace of mind. For any FX6 owner, having these on hand is a smart move. This two-pack is a great value and a must-have for future maintenance.

I recently installed the rubber connectors on my 125-gallon tank attached to a Fluval FX6 canister filter, and they’ve made the plumbing feel much more secure. The connectors fit the stock hoses nicely and create a snug seal. I haven’t noticed any leaks or drips, even after weeks of continuous filtration. Water flow remains steady and strong, so my water circulation feels exactly as it should for a large tank. Installation was straightforward: I simply pushed the hoses onto the connectors, and they sat tight, no fancy tools required. After filling the tank and starting the filter, everything ran quietly and smoothly without any weird gurgling or air-pocket problems. If you’re running a bigger setup (like 125 gallons or more), these connectors feel like a small but important upgrade: not flashy, not dramatic, just reliable plumbing. For anyone wanting peace of mind against leaks or loose hoses, these rubber connectors are a subtle little win.
