Garbage if you can get them to charge up It took me 2 days to get them to charge these are made for the someone who lives in a sunny all the time area if you live where there's street lights these are useless they will cut on and off and when they come back on you might not have all of them showing sometime you have four sometimes you have one that will come back on and the only way that you can see if they're working you have to stop and get out and look who wants to do that every 30 minutes to see if they're working just don't buy them they're junk the only thing these are good for is looking like they work because 90% of the time they don't if you buy these you'll be sorry there is no return once you buy them you're stuck with them

Great Products and from MfG that stand behind them.
Wow, I am so impressed. This mfg went above and beyond. Had a missing item and the totaly took care of me . The cab lights are great and work every time . Love the remote feature and is why I chose the ALDST Solar Cab Lights. I would buy their products again.

These cab lights are bright enough without disrupting oncoming traffic.
The ALDST Solar Cab Lights for Trucks are a set of wireless lights for a vehicle that do not required drilling or wiring since they are solar powered. They also come with dual-side adhesive to mount them to the vehicle roof top. These lights are amber colored and includes a remote control, but they can also activate automatically at dusk or when the vehicle starts. They do detect the vehicle's vibration when the engine is running The lights are simple to install, just peel and stick the dual-side adhesive pads to each light and place them on the vehicle roof top. I used strong adhesive magnetic strips, instead of the provided dual-sided tape, so I can easily remove them and place them on another vehicle. One of the lights have a lower intensity than the others. I left that one in the sunlight for a longer period but it did not help. The ALDST Solar Cab Lights work great and can be controlled by either the remote or the built-in power button. I like that they light up automatically in low light conditions with the vehicle's vibration. They are bright enough to allow my vehicle to be seen without blinding oncoming traffic. They haven been covered by snow twice and freezing rain, so they appear to withstand the winter elements so far.

Day 2 and 1 not holding charge.
Day 2 and one stopped working. Of course I’m tearing off of my truck and sending back for a wired kit. Stay away from these.

Great item, love the lights
Love the lights, but the 1st ones I ordered i ran through the car wash and they leaked water and stopped working. I contacted seller and they sent me a complete new set. I mounted the replacements with magnets so I could easily remove before running through the car wash, solved all the issues. I would recommend buying these, just use MAGNETIC mount

🌧️ Solar Cab Lights Disappoint: 2‑Star Review – Not Worth the $59.99 Price 💡
🚫 Two Star Reality Check: Why the Solar Cab Lights for Trucks with Remote, Wireless No Drill Roof LED Marker Amber Lights Fell Short (And What You Should Know Before Buying) 🚫 ________________________________________ As a Vine reviewer, so I’m used to getting my hands on the newest gadgets and giving them a thorough, no holds barred test. This time I was sent the Solar Cab Lights for Trucks with Remote, Wireless No Drill Roof LED Marker Amber Lights – the solar powered cab lights marketed as “no drill, wireless, IP67 rated, 5 piece LED marker set with remote and vibration sensor.” The listing price on Amazon is $53.99, which sounds reasonable for a set that promises hands free, self charging illumination for trucks, SUVs, RVs, and vans. After a few weeks of real world use, here’s my honest two star take. ________________________________________ 1. First Impressions – Easy Mounting (👍) The biggest selling point on the product page is the claim that you can slap these lights on your roof without drilling or using any tools. The adhesive backing does feel industrial strength, and the installation was indeed a “stick and go” job. I appreciated that my vehicle’s resale value stayed untouched and that I didn’t need a power drill, a screwdriver, or any wiring knowledge. The quick test sensor guide (three simple steps) matched the description and let me verify that the lights were detecting daylight and darkness correctly. So far, so good – the mounting system lives up to the hype, and the 12 high intensity LEDs look promising on paper. 2. Solar Charging – Not So Sunny (🌥️) The lights are supposed to harvest six hours of solar energy each day and automatically turn on at dusk. In my home state, where we get a decent amount of sun in the summer but a lot of cloud cover in the winter, the panels performed just okay. After a bright morning, the lights would power up at night, but the charge never seemed to reach full capacity. In practice, I found that after a cloudy day the lights either dimmed significantly or didn’t turn on at all. The “auto on/off” feature is therefore unreliable unless you live in a consistently sunny climate. If you are in a region that experiences rain, snow, or overcast skies for more than a couple of days, you will quickly notice the battery depleting. 3. Remote – Missing in Action (❌) One of the headline features is a wireless remote that lets you manually toggle the lights on and off. Yet when I opened the box, no remote was included. I double checked the packaging, the Amazon shipping slip, and even called Amazon support. The answer was a generic “it may have been omitted by mistake.” I received three separate sets (different colors) for the Vine program, and none of them contained a remote. This is a major oversight. If the vendor truly intended a remote controlled mode, they should have ensured every package contained the accessory. The lack of a remote forced me to rely entirely on the auto sensor mode, which, as mentioned, is flaky under less than ideal sunlight. 4. Brightness – Dimmer Than Expected (🔦) The listing boasts “super bright 360° illumination” with 12 LEDs per unit. In reality, the light output feels more like a low lumens parking lot beacon than a robust work area lamp. On a dark rural highway, the LEDs barely cut through the gloom beyond a few meters. If you’re a trucker checking cargo at night, a construction worker needing a bright spot on a job site, or simply someone who wants a safety light that can be seen from a distance, you’ll be disappointed. The brightness is simply not strong enough to make a noticeable safety difference, especially when compared to a modest $15 wired LED bar that draws power directly from the vehicle’s battery. 5. Weather Resistance – Holds Up, But Not Perfect (🌧️) The product is advertised as IP67 waterproof and vibration resistant. I put the lights through a rainstorm, a car wash, and even a light snow shower. They stayed attached, and the electronics didn’t short out. However, after the car wash, two of the five lights started flickering and eventually went dark, even though the battery indicator showed charge. The vibration sensor, which is supposed to keep the lights on when the vehicle is moving and turn them off when it’s stopped, behaved inconsistently. On a highway stretch, the lights stayed on for the entire trip; once I parked, they turned off after a delay that seemed random. The sensor’s logic feels poorly calibrated, making the “auto mode” feel more like a guessing game than a reliable safety feature. 6. Build Quality – Decent, But Not Premium (🔧) The casings are made from a sturdy polymer that feels solid enough for everyday use. The adhesive backing holds well on a metal roof, and the lights don’t wobble at highway speeds (until they start failing, as noted). However, there’s a noticeable plastic “crack” sound when the units are tapped, indicating a lower grade material than the $30 $40 wired alternatives that use metal housings. Overall, the build is “good enough” for occasional use, but you can feel the cost-saving shortcuts when you inspect the parts closely. 7. Value for Money – Not Worth the $53.99 (💸) At $53.99 for a five piece set, you’re paying a premium for solar charging, a missing remote, and a marketing hype machine. If the remote had been included and the solar panel performed reliably in all weather, the price might be justified. As it stands, you’re paying for features you don’t get (remote) and for performance that falls short (brightness, battery reliability). A comparable wired LED marker set costs roughly $20–$25, plugs directly into your vehicle’s 12 V system, delivers far brighter light, and works regardless of weather. Even after factoring in the hassle of drilling a hole, the wired option offers better safety and a lower total cost of ownership. 8. Bottom Line – Two Stars, With Reservations (⭐️⭐️) • Pros: Easy, tool free installation; decent waterproof rating; solid adhesive; attractive packaging. • Cons: No remote included; dim light output; unreliable solar charging in cloudy conditions; inconsistent auto sensor behavior; occasional flickering after car washes; price higher than comparable wired solutions. Given the mixed experience, I’m awarding this product 2 out of 5 stars. It’s not a total disaster – it does work enough to merit a passing grade – but it certainly isn’t the “revolutionary, game changing” lighting system the marketing claims. If you live in a sunny, mild climate and are okay with modest illumination, you might still find it useful. Otherwise, I’d recommend looking at a wired LED bar or a solar light that actually includes its remote. ________________________________________ Final Verdict: These lights feels like a half finished concept. It delivers on the “no drill” promise but fails on the core functionalities that justify the $53.99 price tag. For the price you’re paying, expect a fully functional remote, consistent brightness, and a solar system that works rain or shine. Unfortunately, those expectations aren’t met, so I can’t recommend it to most

No remote
This doesn't actually include a remote, which is disappointing. I was really looking forward to the features that offered. That aside, they are nice lights that are a bit brighter than I expected. They're easy to install, as the listing says there are no drills or tools necessary. They stick on with pretty powerful stickers, I accidentally put one in the wrong place and it was almost impossible to move. They charge up quickly and come on when I start the car. I picked up my son from work and had to wait in a dark lot for a few mins. I was really impressed at how much illumination came from these. They lit up the space in front of my truck well enough to see by, and also made it easier for him to find me. All in all, they're a decent value for the cost and work pretty well.
