Fab quality learning!
This seemed very sturdy and good quality for the price and worked brilliantly though he does go a little off track occasionally and need straightening up to be able to read the tiles. Super easy to program, its a great introduction to coding and circuits. My son is 7 and found it very easy so definitely more for the younger ones but it would make a good learning resource for classrooms etc. Brings hours of fun and you can program him to go around your own home made obstacle courses too.

Kids enjoyed it
Kids and adults can enjoy. I bought for my 5 year old but my 8 year old also wanted to use it. An alternative learning tool.

Disappointing
So disappointed with this product, the concept is great, but it simply wouldn’t work. Basically you make a pattern out of large jigsaw pieces and program the device to drive around the course. Unfortunately it wouldn’t go in a straight line, and even when programmed to go straight forward, would just wander off on a curve to the right. No matter what program you entered it would just wander off on its own, the turns would then not line up, and it ended up miles away from where it should have been. This sadly made the programming and whole concept of the thing pointless. The jigsaw pieces also have pictures of various electronic components on them, and as the unit passes over barcodes on them it is supposed to interact with the unit, this didn’t work reliably either. How can a child learn to program something this hit and miss. Overall a massive disappointment

Totally 100% golden great
Fantastic 'toy' if you have a serious type kid or grandkid who is prepared to study and concentrate to get a result. He was entranced by it for hours. Has enough maps and variations to be worth the money. My only negative is to buy it for the right child. Foist this on a gaming or footy addict and I can imagine total dis-interest. Don't try to 'fix' your kids with study toys. Enjoy them for who they are. Buy study toys for kids who already have a studious leaning. They will enjoy.

Was good, but stopped working well in just a few months
Update: Within a few months, it stopped working properly and would do random movements. It just goes on and on non-stop. I don't think this product is worth it. The robot was bigger than expected. The coding is awesome, fun, easy to learn and it's amazing that the code can be seen on the robot! Great purchase! So far...
