BIBIBIRDS Egg Incubator – Automatic Turning, Humidity Control, and Great Hatch Results for Chickens
I purchased this BIBIBIRDS egg incubator specifically for hatching chicken eggs, and it’s been a very reliable unit. Setup was quick and straightforward, and I was able to get it running without any issues. The automatic egg turning feature is one of the best parts—it keeps everything consistent without having to manually rotate eggs multiple times a day. The built-in day counter also makes it easy to stay on track throughout the incubation cycle. I especially like that the turner automatically stops a few days before hatch time, which is exactly what you want during lockdown. The humidity control system with the atomizer works better than expected. It helps maintain stable humidity levels, which is critical for a successful hatch. I still monitored it occasionally, but overall it kept things very consistent. Temperature also stayed steady throughout the entire process. I had a good hatch rate using this incubator for chicken eggs, which says a lot about its reliability. The clear lid is another nice feature—you can check on progress without opening it and disrupting the internal environment. Overall, this is a great incubator if you want something mostly hands-off but still dependable. It’s a solid choice for both beginners and anyone looking for a more automated setup for hatching chicken eggs.

You likely won't get all 6 to hatch, but you SHOULD have some!
Super happy! I ordered the 6 eggs and SADLY 2 of the 6 were cracked. However, I put the remaining 4 into the incubator and today 2 little ducklings hatched. I was only hoping for 2 and we got them. So so so so excited!

Great for beginners, just keep an eye on the humidity with a separate Hygrometer.
I got the BIBIBIRDS egg incubator as a backup as sometimes broody hens, especially young ones, will abandon the nest or get too rough with newly hatched chicks, so we have to intervene and take the eggs away early. This incubator was very easy to set up and is made from good quality materials. I like that the Styrofoam packaging can be used as a cover if needed as the A/C in our house is a little too efficient and can affect the temperature control which works great in ambient temperatures. So, keep in mind the placement of the incubator in your house, not too hot, not too cold, and never outside in the sun. It's a great size for 18 chicken eggs and still allows for turning just like the hen would do naturally and it stops turning automatically when the 3-day lockdown occurs. I did have to place a separate hygrometer as humidity control is very important and I found that the unit was not giving an accurate reading, so I had to remove the water bottle on occasion. This is something I always check with any incubator all the way through because if the humidity is too high the babies can drown inside the egg or if it's too low the babies can "shrink wrap" and get stuck inside the egg while they are trying to hatch. For the size this incubator is good value, and I think it is a great beginner friendly unit.

Save the packaging!!!
SAVE THE PACKAGING!! The packaging doubles as insulation! This is a really nice, quality incubator that includes everything you need to get started hatching eggs. I did a test run without eggs to be sure everything works correctly. There was a bit of a smell on the first run, so it's important to make sure you are washing and test running this prior to hatching your own eggs! So far I am impressed with the high quality, and thoughtfulness of the details. The temperature and humidity are very easy to set, and the incubator reached the set targets fairly quickly (under 20min) and had no issue maintaining them. Temperature and humidity are the two most important factors in hatching eggs and this unit has those covered. With the exception of cleaning, and checking that your unit works correctly prior to putting in eggs, refilling the water, manually adjusting a higher humidity setting for hatching time, and just generally keeping an eye from time to time that everything is proceeding correctly... it's about as hands off as you can get! Again, the packaging itself doubles as insulation if needed, depending on the ambient temperatures of where you plan to house the unit, so you'll want to keep those. There are two different gears included to accommodate different sized eggs which makes this very versatile. The unit will hold up to 18 standard chicken eggs. Which is a good size for a small backyard, or classroom, hobbyist. And can accommodate from tiny quail eggs, to large goose eggs. There are two manuals included, one is everything you need to know on how to use the machine: How to reset the day counter, how to stop an alarm, how to clean and care for it, etc. The other is an absolutely wonderful visual guide on the ENTIRE process of hatching eggs from before getting the eggs, all the way through to what to do AFTER they hatch! Very thoughtful and appreciated! I like this style of incubator more than my last one, I had a full styrofoam model with a tiny window in it... this one gives you a much more unobstructed view to what's happening inside. The ease of refilling the water without disturbing the eggs is an excellent feature. And I absolutely love the automated egg rotator. Eggs are rotated automatically every 90min and will stop rotating automatically on the last 3 days before the hatch, there is a button to manually turn on/off rotation if necessary. And the unit does include an egg candle, that works excellently. This unit is an excellent value for a very high quality automatic incubator and I definitely recommend it.

Disappointed
EDIT: THIS IS THE MOST ANNOYING INCUBATOR. It beeps randomly and won't shut off and no clear idea what is even wrong. I have ordered a new but I am stuck with this for a couple more days. Pretty small for 18 eggs and it's doesn't seem to rotate the eggs and I tried to change the insert piece and flip it upside down and nothing works. Will be buying a different one

This works good. Great for the novice and hatching small batches eggs.
This egg incubator surprised me on how easy it was to use it and that it was reliable to use. I needed to hatch a few dozen chicks and this unit made it easy to do. It monitors everything needed to complete successful hatchings. I love that it turns automatically. The auto-turner ran on schedule and then locked itself the last 3 days as needed with no frantic fiddling needed. It fits different eggs. I used the trays for chicken eggs. The temperature & humidity stayed steady. Temps were consistent and the atomizer kept humidity where it needed to be. The hatching rate was better than I had expected. The external water fill is great being able to refill from a bottle without opening the lid. This helps to keep the conditions stable. It has a built-in top candler lamp that makes candling eggs quick and is very convenient. The built-in day countdown kept me from having to guess the schedule. You can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit by pressing a button. It's easy to use. Plug in, load the eggs, fill the bottle, check the setting and let it do its thing. The instruction manual was great. The plastic trays do feel a bit lightweight so do handle them gently. This is a good incubator for a small coop and great for beginners or anyone who wants a mostly hands-off incubator. My chicks came out healthy and the unit performed exactly as advertised. I have bought several of these units and feel they work great.

Not the easiest, but I'd use it again!
I used this incubator in my classroom and started with 12 eggs, ending up with 7 chicks hatched. A couple eggs weren’t fertilized and a few stopped developing before lockdown, but overall I was happy with the results. One thing to note is the egg turner struggled with larger eggs. They didn’t always rotate unless positioned just right, so smaller eggs would probably work better. I also used a separate temp/humidity monitor inside, and found the incubator read slightly higher on temp and needed to be set about 7% higher for humidity to match. Once I got the humidity dialed in (and fully soaked the sponge), it worked well. The base is easy to clean, but the lid and fan area are harder to fully get clean after hatching. Overall, I would use it again, but I’d recommend using a second monitor and sticking with smaller eggs for the best results!

Fantastic success rate for beginning incubator! Great product!
First use was 12 ducks eggs. 1 egg was non-viable by the first candling. The other 11 developed great until hatching day. From there 10 of the 11 initiated a hatch, but we ultimately only successfully got 9 of the original 12 ducklings to fully hatch (my observation was that the incubator did great, but I opened it too much on hatch day and that is what led to the loss of the additional 2 eggs/ducklings.) I never had to refill the humidity bottle. Everything adjusted automatically very well (I did do some manual changes on the temp and humidity since they were duck eggs and the recommendations online were slightly different than the default settings). Accordingly, my take is that this thing is fantastic and works flawlessly! We've got 12 more chicken eggs in it today! Hopefully this second batch goes as well as the first batch! The humidity holds very well, as does the temp (highly recommend putting the Styrofoam topper back on while incubating - it really does help a lot with stability). And the ease of use couldn't be higher. I am brand new to incubating eggs and given the success of the first go, and all the automatic features this machine comes with, I couldn't recommend it enough!
