In the end I order two of these & hoped they would live up to the positive reviews & my children's expectations. Well I am happy to say they have. They arrived very well packaged & with a partial charge so they could be used for a short period straight away. They come in a box within a styrofoam case inside an Amazon packaged box. The actual units are heavy but feel very substantial & sturdy. It took my children a very short time to master them, they had already been trying out a friends board. We initially used them indoors in our kitchen, each with an adult as a spotter to hold their hands & assist them getting on and off. Dismounting is the most risky as the board can roll away under the foot still on the board if you don't step off it quickly causing you to fall backward. I have purchased elbow & wrist guards for both of mine to use when on these especially when outdoors. The lights look amazing & as with almost all the boards you can play music through them via bluetooth. The speakers are really quite good quality, no distortion or booming when turned up quite loud. These are keeping my children entertained and outside in the fresh air. Ours run on a full charge I would say for about 4 hours. I have noticed the light on the charger turns from Red to Green after 1 1/2 hours, which is supposed to indicate the board is charged, but the manual states 3 - 3 1/2 for a full charge. I ignore the light & put my timer on to remind me to switch them off after 3 hours. The boards have an inbuilt speed limiter, 7.5 mph and the alarms start sounding if they hit this limit. If they don;t slow themselves the board will do this for them by pulling back. I personally think this is a good thing as at full speed they seems quite fast enough. The alarms will also sound if you pick up the board while it is still on as the sensors always look to be aligned. We did have a small issue with one of the boards when it was first used as the calibration was off. It caused the board to vibrate and feel odd. We followed the instructions included on what to do if the board vibrated which is normally due to loss of the calibration settings and presto it fixed the issue! We are really happy with these boards and I would go as far as to recommend them to others. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great gift for a teenager! *by F***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 January 2019* Arrived in an absolutely massive box stuffed with padding. Absolutely great buy - my son got the hang of it within 20 minutes at the park and mastered it within a week. He loves that he can play music as he glides along. Sturdy (heavy!) and well made - I could tell straight away that this is not some rubbish replica - it's the real deal. A very reasonable price considering many similar product go for twice as much. Charger works fairly quickly and battery lasts well - about four hours non stop use. Absolutely delighted - it was the highlight of his Christmas and still used every day two weeks later - novelty not worn off! My son seems really pleased with it. We have the the 8.5inch one for all terrain. Nice design and seems quite sturdy (my husband has played on it too!). The app is pretty cool and you can monitor your speed etc and change the colour of the lights. The Bluetooth speakers are also a nice touch which allows my son to listen to his music while he is playing on it. It reaches a maximum speed of 12mph.
