It's really organized and detailed. I have done the recipes inside and felt more knowledgeable when going into a dispensary. Just treat it like a glorified coffee house and you'll be fine. It's all semantics. Dab, vape, flower, gummy, shatter, budder etc. I hate all the freaky terminology of weed culture and sort of wish that medical dispensaries could have a numbered system for strains, but like lots of botantical names they can be weird. Stick to the info in the book for THC % vs CBD and CBN and the entourage effect of terpenes etc. Highly recommend this book, it's very helpful and well written. The author has a good Insta page as well.
