Like many others, I'm not entirely satisfied with the screwdriver. It's made of plastic with lots of flashing that wasn't removed at the factory. The top cap doesn't spin smoothly at all; it's pretty much useless. That being said, it works reasonably well as a screwdriver. The rest of the kit is amazing. All the included tools are of great quality. The opening picks aren't brittle at all and don't snap when bent. The Jimmy tool hasn't bent permanently, despite some rather aggressive prying. The case itself really blew me away. It has magnets to hold the lid on, plus more on the bottom so you can snap the lid on while using the kit. All the tools are removed by pushing down on the bottom and lifting them out. All the tools fit beautifully into their respective slots, although the suction cup doesn't always go in easily. This kit is a great way to get into repairing electronics without breaking the bank. You will definitely need more tools as you get into more advanced projects, but this is an excellent way to start.

Pretty solid toolkit for the price point, had a great experiance constructing my new gaming rig with this toolkit, swaping out heads is simple and quick, and has all the points needed for the majority of basic electronics work. My only point of contention is that, despite the nice exterior I'm not a big fan of the interior of the tool kit, everything outside of the heads either is very difficult to remove from the case, or shuffles around while closed, with little in between. Mostly a nit pick though, outside of that I highly recommend this for those needing a simple, reliable electronics kit.

Been using this for about a year now and it's greatly improved the ease of my repair tasks. I've successfully cleaned TV remotes, assembled tower PCs, repaired a number of game controllers, and replaced the analog stick on a Nintendo Switch Joy-con entirely with the tools in this little kit. The screw-head set is good quality (none of them have worn at all), and it includes a good selection of oddball head types like tri-wing and a bunch of little hex heads. The plastic tools are also great for working with tiny ribbon cables without having to worry about damaging circuit boards or decorative plastic shells. I also like that the case has a built-in screw-tray. Overall, an excellent little kit for basic repairs on small electronics.

I knew I wanted this because I use iFixit for a variety of projects and work and was going between this smaller one and the more expensive one. I still want expensive one even though I don't need it. I've found you can get smaller kits and make one big one out of all of them for a better tool kit overall. (Example is I got a small quality set of torx drivers at Oreillys Auto Parts for 5.00) If you just need spudgers, the suction cup and the picks this one is perfect. I only took off some for durability cause the plastic spudger can get ruined with hardly any force and the bits can get bent or damaged without much force at all and I've compared against others. For the price it shouldn't matter because you get other stuff in kit that's only available in certain kits and the brand is reputable, the case itself is built fairly solid with some pretty strong magnets. Overall, it's a great set of tools for beginners and intermediate users alike. The construction is solid and the case is surprisingly useful with the grid on it being a very simple part organizer while you're tearing into something. Going through what comes in the kit: -I was pleased to see that screwdriver was made very solid(other brands tend to cut corners here) although a better grip could be useful for bigger hands. I find it's tough to get a grip when you need to apply a lot of pressure. ---One tool I would have liked to see in here were pliers for nut and bolt parts but that's not a big deal for everything else you get in this kit. -The plastic pry bar and picks come in handy and help keep that nice look(Reduce the amount of scratches you may inflict if you used a metal pry bar) if you're doing a repair on someones device and not just scraping it for parts. -The suction cup is handy as well for taking phone screens off without putting fingerprints all over the glass. -The bits are well made as well. As long as you use the right bit for each screw head, they should last a lifetime. -The case design itself I really like. The magnets are strong enough to keep the kit closed and they are surprisingly strong. I would highly recommend this toolkit and other products from Ifixit as they have made a great a product here.

Used this tool-kit for adding a RAM in laptop and found very useful. The job was very simple with this kit.
