I've tried 5 other cases for the HD8 (2018) and this one fit my needs exactly. I got the royal blue version and there are definitely huge speaker holes just like every other HD8 case I've tried.The flap with tab is a little interesting. I love it but if you just fold the flap back while reading it does stick out oddly. Not an issue though as I fold the first half back, then the second half back upon itself with the tab tucked in. This way my finger are always on the outer portion of the case, there's some thickness to comfortably hold on to, and the flap is tucked away.Very light. Very comfortable. Looks like it still provides a decent layer of protection. I'm using a separate, matte screen protector and have to say this solution for reading has me using the HD8 more than my paper white now. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy, nice colour, needs longer tabs in back *by C***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2019* I bought this for my new Kindle 8 because it looked sturdy and it is. But the little lock tabs in the back are hard to see and not nearly long enough to keep the case in Landscape mode while I read in bed. Plus trying to decipher the pictures of how to set it up are really difficult. I can see using pictures for international sales but written directions added would be helpful.The case itsef is well made and the covers stays latched plus the Royal Blue colour are very nice.
