Pretty expensive, but a great product. Be aware, they do not fit in the plastic BCW short box unless you put them in sideways. The standard sizes do.

**Q: What backing boards should you use with these?**
A: You can use any 7 1/2 x 10 1/2 backing boards (such as the full/half backing boards from E. Gerber or the Golden Age boards from BCW).

**Q: Would these be good for trade paper backs?**
A: Mylites are a thinner mylar than the heavy bags some people use for valuable comic, but they are crystal clear, mylar bags good for any collectible. Some trade paperbacks are thicker than the average comic, and will stretch the bag too much. Measure the width of the trade paperback or graphic novel and make sure you have an additional 1/4" to 3/8" of room in the bag you order. If you have room put an acid free board in the bag for additional support.

**Q: Anyone know how these would compare to the bcw silver age 2 mm mylar(which i been using)?**
A: These are BIGGER than BCW Silver Age mylar bags, since these are for both Silver and Golden Age comic books. **Q: Are these Polyethylene?**
A: No, it's mylar. Unlike polyethylene, these bags are more rigid, more archival, almost completely impermeable to liquids and gases and crystal clear to see through, not milky-looking.
