My cooler door is flush. Is it only a flush strike that will work?

With your cooler door being flush it would be best to use a flush strike. If you were to get a larger offset strike it may cause an issue with your door not wanting to close to latch and close properly. Walk-in Cooler Parts

Whats the difference between offsets and flush mount,thank you.

Flush is when the door is closed the door will be flush with the exterior wall, if the door extends out from the wall when closed that is an offset. you would measure from the wall to the face of the door to get that measurement.

How will this hold up in an exterior application?

I think it will be fine I put one in a basement walk-in box and it works fine
