Eusebius' Ecclesiastical History: Complete and Unabridged Hardcover – January 1, 1998

The Apostles were Jewish men who followed Jesus Christ and his teachings. Using Apostolic Succession (highly jesus and biblical concept) they picked their successors to teach the faith as given by Jesus and the Holy Spirit. By the end of the first century the Church was referring to itself as "catholic" (in a universal sense). The name stuck: Catholic. ALL of the churches at Nicea (325AD) were Catholic. No Protestants; some heresy (Arianism which said Jesus was not divine). It took 1500 years for some men to decide that they understood Christ better, all in error, and some in serious error. Hard truth: The Reformation, as taught today, was a fraud and likely the greatest work of Satan as it split the Church and keeps it split.

This is the best book I've read on Church history, and written by the Father of Churchiest History. The first person language adds a sense of personal insight into the actions, issues, and outlook of the first three-four centuries after the Resurrection of Christ. A must read for every believer in God.

The only little problem that I ordered a few books, and they were all shipped together in a box,and they were a little damaged in the transport, so if you want to have you books to be spotlessyou should ordered them one by one = )
