Hiqufet Kitchen Tap, Kitchen Mixer Taps with Pull Down Sprayer, Stainless Steel High Arc Single Handle Kitchen Sink Tap for Pot Filler, Matte Black

Much better than hoped for. The fitting was as simple as described, for anyone with basic DIY skills. The 'c' clamp is great, making the mounting of the mixer a bit easier. It doesn't seem to clamp rigidly to the sink, but overtightening is often the mistake most make. The weighted hose system for the spray, is good, just ensure you don't allow the weight to catch on any pipework or on any shelving. It won't be possible to attach a hose adapter, due to the larger diameter of the spray head, but that is not a major sacrifice. The rocker switch for spray to full flow, is positive and works well. The adjustable hot/cold lever is also smooth and works well. For the very low cost, this is a good budget option, which should last a few years, all being well.

I purchased this tap as a Used – Like New offer through Amazon Resale for a great price of less than £18.I needed it to replace a much more expensive kitchen mixer tap that had developed a drip yet again, despite already having the ceramic cartridge replaced. The replacement cartridge on its own actually cost more than this complete Hiqufet tap!I’ll list the slight cons first:1. If you don’t have enough space under the sink for the extending hose to retract properly, you’ll need to position the counterweight further up the hose. This means you won’t be able to fully extend the tap head. This isn’t much of an issue for me as I can still extend it plenty far enough to reach all around the sink, just not as far as would be possible if there was more space underneath. This may be more of a problem if you literally have no spare space under your sink.2. You do lose some water pressure.I normally have really good, strong water pressure and since fitting the Hiqufet tap it has dropped by a fair amount. It’s not enough to cause a problem, but there is definitely less pressure than before. When it comes to doing water changes on my 125L aquarium, I can imagine it’s going to take a bit longer compared with my previous tap.3. It’s very lightweight. This isn’t really a con, but compared with my old tap it literally weighs less than a quarter as much. Once it’s fitted, though, you can’t tell at all.4. That’s it. No other cons for me, at least. On to the pros:1. The extending tap head is great for reaching all around the sink and makes rinsing things much easier.2. Being able to switch the water mode between shower and jet is actually really useful.3. Fitting is simple enough that you shouldn’t need a plumber or any specialist tools.4. The price. I got mine for under £18 and it was completely like new and unused. Even at the full price, though, I think it’s a good deal. As long as it lasts, it’s excellent value for money.5. The pause button. I haven’t actually had a reason to use this yet, but I can imagine it will come in handy when rinsing vegetables and similar jobs.Overall, I’m very happy with the tap. Only time will tell how durable it is, but if you need a kitchen tap and don’t want to spend a fortune, you won’t go too far wrong with this one, especially if you can pick up a Used – Like New one like I did.

Seemed like a good product and looked nice. The pipes were too long to fit in my kitchen, which is a shame as it would have looked really smart.Great value for money, looks similar to taps that are a lot more expensive. As the pipes were too long for me, I am unsure of the durability as I returned the item prior to use. The return was easy and hassle free.

Great product for the money. Well made and works well. I’ve bought more expensive taps from B&Q in the past and this is much better.

Excellent value for money

I don't have any experience of fitting taps but needed a temporary replacement for a faulty tap. This was relatively straight forward to fit and everything seemed to go OK, with all the parts needed supplied. However, we do loose quite a lot water pressure compared to the mixer it replaced and other mixers in the house. As a result we struggle to get good pressure out of the hot water side or to get a good balance between hot and cold. Otherwise functions OK.

Very easy to fit, looks good and works great.
