Its thin and air tight so no water gets in. Covered top to bottom with plastic. Where the fingerprint sensor is there is a plastic film over it and it actually detects your fingerprint through the plastic. You have to press a littit tho which is understandable. There is a slot made in for the S pen, charger port and headphone jack that is really tightly fitted so no water gets in.
