Mens Arahi 8

First and foremost, I purchased these shoes to address foot pain and sciatica-related pain in my right leg. Prior to this pair, I wore supportive shoes, but they simply weren't doing the job. On the advice of a friend, I purchased the Hoka Arahi 8s. Since I stand for 8 to 9 hours a day and walk between 3.5 and 5 miles daily, reliable support is a necessity. I wear a size 8 in all my footwear—sneakers, dress shoes, and boots—and these fit as well as, or better than, any other shoe I’ve owned. There is plenty of room in the toe box, and the standard width is perfect. The arch support is prominent yet soft and comfortable, and the heel is securely cradled on all sides. The shoes are well-constructed and stylish. It is taking me a little time to get used to the gait, as the significant bevel at the heel encourages a distinct heel-to-toe strike. Additionally, the wide sole provides great stability, preventing the foot from rolling side-to-side. The shoes are also impressively lightweight. Given all these positives, I am hopeful for a significant reduction in foot and leg fatigue. I am a big fan of providing updates, so I plan to follow up in a month or two regarding comfort, pain relief, and overall durability.

I love my HOKA’s. These shoes are so comfortable and helping me become active again. They fit well, and are holding up very well under my bigger frame. They keep my feet from being sore. I’m someone that will pay more money for a great quality shoes and HOKA’s are just that.
