The Power of Now

After reading 80 books in last 2 years i finally found one of the best spiritual books! First i chased financial fredom, even after getting it, i wasn't happy. Then started my search for spiritual books for last 2 years , read a lot of good books but when i finally read Power of Now, my all doubts were cleared. I gave up the attraction of money and anything. I was at peace with myself. I started looking world from different angle. THis is a must read book and i don't know why i didnt read it earlier when it ws coming on my feed.Although one will have to execute the teaching in this book as one is theory and one is execution. But the theory is an eye opener. It's like physics which will explain you why you are here and why you are not at peace. Why "Now" is the only important thing in this whole world. If you live in now, there is no fear no pain, no resistance!Edit: I don't know whether it was a coincidence or what but within a month or two after this book, i experienced a big wave of vibration during my meditation and since then it's continued. I never thought that i will meditate for 1-2 hours daily but now it's happening automatically. I believe books have their own enrgy and when one completely understands and graspa the book, some of the energy is transfered. I am super happy and now this book has become my go to reference.

*The Power of Now* by Eckhart Tolle is a profound guide to spiritual awakening and living fully in the present moment. The book emphasizes the importance of detaching from the past and future, which are often the sources of stress and anxiety, and instead focusing on the "now," where true peace and enlightenment reside. Tolle explains how our ego-driven minds constantly distract us with worries and regrets, preventing us from experiencing the true essence of life. Through practical advice and deep insights, *The Power of Now* encourages readers to break free from the mental traps that keep them from experiencing joy and inner peace. It’s an essential read for anyone seeking a more mindful, fulfilled life.

I really liked the FAQ sort of read. It is a quick and enjoyable read. Almost every other page has some highlights on it. It literally made a drastic change in the way of life and I started becoming aware of my surroundings a lot.

If you need to read one book in your entire life, it would be the "Power of Now". Though I have read several spiritual classics and seem to understand the teachings it convey, I realized that I did not gather the underlying message portrayed by those great spiritual texts. It is Eckhart's wisdom showed me what those spiritual texts are actually conveying. The first radical concept, we live only in the Now, takes time to understand, intellectually, we may seem to understand but to put it in practice it is a different story. We constantly live in the past or future but never in the present. In fact we never really live in the present moment. Eckhart in a very crystal clear manner portrays how we live in a dysfunctional way and opens our eyes to the Present. In the present moment we find our salvation and not anywhere else. If we practice what is presented in the book, we will be giving a present to ourselves.Do buy and read it. I have recommended this book to all my friends.

This book awakens the readers thatDwelling on past pains and future worries does nothing good for you. How living in present fully can create a pain free life. This book also provides strategies and methods on how to control your mind and live in the present moment. Here are few highlighters which I really like in this book:It is more about to, Realize deeply that present moment is all you ever have. Make the now the primary focus of your life.To accept the present moment with grace as it is and without resistance.Being in present is being liberated and is the way to experience the source of creation.Whenever some form of negativity arises within you, look on it NOT as a failure, but as the Helpful signal that it is telling you 'Wake up & GET OUT OF YOUR MIND. BE PRESENT.'The miracle is, vastness and emptiness that exists in the space also exists inside you. This book takes readers oninspirational and spiritual journey that connects the readers to their deepest true self. It helps in realising true human potential to reach ultimate personal growth and spirituality.I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wanted to improve their quality of this moment of life and to evolve spiritually.

This is the first spiritual book I have completed reading.Reading this book is a great experience. After reading for the first time I feel I should read it again and again to fully grasp all the knowledge. The author first convinced me that I'm not the only one facing this problem all my life. It's infact everyone is suffering from the same problem and is seeking solution. So this book resonated very well with me.And guides and clarifies on how to solve the problem heads on. Clearly a lot of work has been done on the book. Every doubt that may arise from the solution is being thought and already answered in question and answer format through out the book.Ah! And finally the problem the helps us to solve is "How to get rid of the random thoughts/running commentary running always in your head to fully experience life in the NOW"A great read if implemented in one's life will give immense joy to everylife on earth.

The book piques ones interest. But beyond 70 pages, there is not much of fresh ideas.I think this gives a condensed, English, diluted view of works on Mindfulness, Yoga, Advaitam. For a reader not used to these, it is definitely a mind opening book. For others, reading beyond 70 pages is not of utility. There seems to be some really good discussion on PON, in the first few pages.Support from Buddha, Krishna, Tao, Christ seems just an advertising tactic to reach a broader international audience. And it worksGood read

This book has made me realise that my mind is my prison. More I think without knowing I am thinking, more mess I tend to leave behind. By being an observer, I am already starting to stop my thinking process before it goes wild. It is a start but I know what to do.

Muy buen libro, pero habrá que leerlo más de una vez porque hay mucho que asimilar.

Awesome little tome that could change your life, that is how I would sum this book up. A five star read for those interested in enlightenment, living a happier life or learning to subjugate their egos. The Author illustrates how living in the present moment- THE NOW, can benefit you in life and allow you create a better sense of harmony and purpose, the teachings are quite profound and similar to buddhist thought, however the author is very good at explaining these sometimes intractable concepts so that you can relate to them more easily and bring them into your day-to-day life experiences. The book is related to the concept of destroying/learning to control your ego/ego death and without trying to explain the whole book in one fell swoop, it is safe to say that the Eckhart Tolle has a lot of wisdom to impart on this aspect of self existence. The one criticism I have, but it is not a serious one, is that the author could have used a shorter book to impart the same amount of wisdom, however for "newbies" it might be a bit overwhelming to rush it and I guess a lot of people will relate better to a more relaxing pace of learning this crucial piece of life knowledge.

これを読んでから雑念が大幅に減り、思考がとてもスッキリしました。全ての苦しみは未来と過去からくると説いており、非常に共感しました。今ここにある事だけが全て。大変おすすめです。

Thank you Eckhart for this awesome book you wrote. It helped me so much! I am going to buy the paperback edition (I read it on Kindle). I totally suggest it to anyone who is on a spiritual path. I love you guys!
