Black Torch, Vol. 1

It's visuals are similar to Dorohedoro, where a lot of black is used to imply just the perfect amount of edginess that doesn't make you want to Naruto run around the street, but still makes you wish you were a ninja. And the story is rather amusing as well, animals communication isn't uncommon in the manga world but this has a grit to it that's only known to Black Torch. I'm counting down the days for each new volume and can easily see a future anime adaptation.

The art style is incredible, the characters are relatable and well written they have distinct personalities. I regard this as a very "clean" book in the sense of what gore there is is artistic and is there for the story and not to gross out. Which is something I appreciate. This book has a good reading balance of story and martial prowess. I'd highly recommend it to people who want a modern ninja meets supernatural. Nothing seems overdone to me.

Jiro Azuma comes from a long blood line of ninjas, he can also talk to animals, like Dr. Dolittle. One day, he meets a demon cat, and gets himself into a supernatural war. The art work is like: Tite Kubo, Bleach and Zombiepowder (author) Kazue Kato, Blue Exorcist and Time Killers (author) The book comes with a mini poster, like in the Seraph of the end volumes. I enjoyed the story, the art, and the characters from this first volume. Sad to see it end at volume 5, but I do look forward to seeing Tsuyoshi Takaki's future works!

I liked the premise and I felt like it lived up to the expectations it set. I really enjoy the art, especially the facial expressions for the animals. It's a promising start to the series and i can't wait for the next volume!

I love the art work! The plot so far is really interesting.The book came with a little mark on the front cover but overall everything else was amazing!

Me animé a empezar en el manga, y muy contento con la compra. Llegó en buen estado y tanto trama, dibujo y traducción perfecto. Además a un precio de 3.80, impresionante! Lo malo que veo es que es muy corto y claramente por este precio no me quejo, pero veo que el resto tiene el mismo tamaño y ya son más caros, es mi impresion porque es mi primer manga pero supongo que vosotros ya estaréis acostumbrados

I thoroughly enjoyed this title. While the story is quite basic, you can tell there was a lot of love put into the series through the beautiful artwork and the artists commentary sprinkled throughout the publication. Definitely would recommend picking up at least the first volume!

100% worth the money full original manga and authentic art and quality. The quality of delivery was also good.
